Taiwan Day (Night) 1

(I am going to do this in separate posts, just to make my own life easier. If you have a problem with that, please shut up :). )

For those of you that didn't know, I spent part of my self-proclaimed winter holiday in Taiwan. I had so much fun! I spent the first three-ish days in Taipei, then took a train to Hualien on the fourth day, and spent most of the fifth day at Taroko National Park before heading back to Taipei that night to fly out on day six. If you would like to retrace my steps geographically:
Keep your eyes on the top right corner. The font is a bit small.

So like any trip, I started out at the nearest international airport, which in this case is in Narita.
The folks at Narita International Airport had some encouraging advice as I prepared to embark on my journey:Unfortunately I couldn't find any peaple to communicate with. Such is life.

I flew China Airlines for the first time, because apparently I have a death wish....

Cheap tickets will make a girl do rash things. Luckily for myself, this is not the last image you were to see of me.

No, instead arrived safe and sound somewhere in Taipei. It was very late...so I went to bed. So ends an uneventful Day 1.
